Dear artists,

I got a phonecall yesterday from president of Allianz Kulturstiftung. They are interested to support the exhibitions in Marseille, Krakow, Katowice and Serbia (around 10000€).
That would help us a lot and they are a very important cultural funder.

Decision of jury will be on 15th of July and he said, we have a quite good chance....

We are in the moment preparing a report frim symposium for them: Pressmaterial, radioreport, televisionreport our own video and photos and a summary about lectures....

But he also asked for short artists dossiers.

Can you help and send us a DinA 4 PDF

including (in Prosa)

What is the topic, you are working on mainly

One or two pictures from former works

here comes a first comment from our curator Janek Müller:

The expedition in September will hopefully intensify your inspiration once more. After the symposium, which had a focus on the civil societies of the various countries in south-eastern Europe, we are now about to zoom on the „object of desire".

"Something is only what it is within its border and through its border." wrote the philosopher Friedrich Hegel. Europe as the topic of our art project is just such a „something". The aims of the expedition (Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade and the other places) in the south-eastern parts of this „something" called Europe are especially exciting as they have experienced massive changes and transformations during the past years. These changes also constitute that Europe as a whole is changing and that borders are extended.

With the „expedition mapping" we would like to build a platform on the website www.missioneurope.info <http://www.missioneurope.info/> , some sort of audio-visual gallery. We would therefore like to ask the participants of the expedition to take an active part in the „mapping".

We would suggest that approximately one month after the journey (which means in the beginning of October 2006) we will be able to open the internet-gallery. In this gallery we want you to present your impressions of the journey in small projects: collected passions and sound traces, borderline experiences, surfaces and perspectives of the journey (image, sound and video files). These might become preparations or inputs for new ideas for those projects that will be shown in the exhibition.

We think this would be a great way to exchange personal ideas, experiences, and impressions among the artists, which will surely be a further inspiration to your work.

hi everybody here is my planning back. I'm not sur for the during in belgrade. how many time are the transport between zagreb and sarajevo, and between sarajevo and belgrade? I would try to meet people who live in the differant cities, and in others like mostar, perhaps by the hospitalityclub. so i would know what is the real time whe have in each place (whithout transport) For the moment i work about an intallation whitch could receive images and sound from the trip. I think I will use Super8, photos and soundrecorder. I will make later a folder with details. schuss.

in the moment I only have three filled forms for travel: Krzystof, Alexis and Annette.
Wojciech wrote, that he will travel for his own, cause he has to quit the group earlier.

Please fill the form, cause we have to book the flights!

Dear artists,

I checked all possibilities to make an foreign travel health insurance for you (div. banks, div. insurance companies). But it´s´not possible. The reason is, that those insurances are only additional to the regular health insurance.

It´s not possible for me to contract a group insurance!

That´s totally shitty cause I have to beg you noe to contract one additional to your regular one.

But they are quite cheap (around 10€ per year).

I´m very sorry, thai I have no better news.

But please do it. We´ll find a way to give you the 10€ back!!!!
